NIRWANA BALI GOLF CLUB

Nirwana Bali Golf Club, situated near the Tanah Lot Temple, has breath-taking views over the Indian Ocean. The resort consists of a golf course, a five-star hotel managed by Le Meridien, a racquet sports centre, 67 luxury villas, timeshare suites, resort homes and townhouses. The par 71, 18-hole course was designed by Greg Norman who incorporated rice terraces and creeks into it, resulting in one of the most visually spectacular courses in Asia.

Three holes are played on cliffs overlooking the lndian Ocean and the twelfth hole, which overlooks the Tanah Lot temple, is one of the most photographed in the world. Golf carts are compulsory and playing assistants must accompany all golfers. A Balinese open-style clubhouse serves refreshments and food, and a proshop has equipment for sale and rent. BALI HANDARA KOSAIDO COUNTRY CLUB

Located at 1,142 metres above sea level in Bedugul, Bali Handara Kosaido Country Club boasts an 18-hole, par 72 championship golf course that is listed among the world's fifty greatest. Designed by international golfer and course architect, Peter Thompson, Michael Wolferidge and Associates, the course is surrounded by mountains with a panoramic view of Lake Buyan, and is popular for its difficulty.

The scenery and the low average temperature of 16-20C present a refreshing change from the heat of southern Bali. Accommodation at the club consists of Balinese bungalows or hotel and suite rooms, which are heated. Facilities at the club include tennis courts, fitness centre and massage, Japanese bath and sauna. Golf carts, equipment and services of caddies are available at the proshop. F&B outlets include three restaurants and a karaoke bar, and there is also a fully-equipped convention and banquet hall for up to 100 people.

Designed by renowned golf course architects Rodney Wright and Robin Nelson of Hawaii, the 18-hole par 72 course hosted the 1994 Alfred Dunhill Master tournament, which featured several of the world's top golfers, including Nick Faldo, Colin Montgomerie and Vijay Singh.

The course has multiple tees, allowing for play by novice and professionals. Each hole is unique and the course has three definite settings for play. From hole 1-9, play extends up a hill through thick vegetation, giving players the opportunity to enjoy the panoramic scenes of the Indian Ocean and Nusa Dua. They can also see the majestic Mt. Agung on a clear day. The first half of the course has several water spots, creeks, and waterfalls; and small, hand-built stone walls line the sides of the tees and fairways, resembling the rice field terraces of Bali.

Holes 10-16 are played through a coconut grove with some of the palms as high as 100 feet. Holes 17and 18 are played along the beachside and back toward a 16 acre lake.
At the end of a round, golfers can indulge in a relaxing and exhilarating massage or spa treatment at The Spa at Bali Golf & Country Club. Trained caddies, golf carts, and all necessary equipment are available for hire at the proshop. The well appointed clubhouse has a swimming pool, two bars and an open-air restaurant.
A recent addition to the Bali Golf and Country Club has been the Wantilan Golf Villas. Set within the golf course, these three- and four-bedroom, self contained villas can be rented on a short-term basis. Guests will receive personalised service, attractive golf fees and priority tee times.

BALI BEACH GOLF COURSE

Open to both hotel guests and visitors, Bali Beach Golf Course has a challenging 9-hole golf course with many trees. The clubhouse has a restaurant and bar. Equipment and caddy services are available. The Grand Bali Beach hotel guests receive a 50% discount on green fees. Those not ready for the course can practice at a driving range in nearby Renon.

Ciputra Golf, covering 125 hectares of beautifully sculpted fairway and greens, was designed to be a key venue for regional and international tournaments. The course has 27 holes, is par 108 and has a total length of 9145 meters – offering many unforgettable moments. The course was designed by Andy Dye from Dye Designs Corp,. a reputable golf course world class designer. The designer took full advantage of the range and elevation in developing the course. Following the natural hill and valley topography of the area, the course is designed stadium style with the holes in the valley.

YANI GOLF CLUB SURABAYA

Surabaya's oldest course, Yani Golf Club is located near the toll road and next to Surabaya's Hilton International Hotel. The course was first opened in 1898 and is ranked in the category of "Grand Old Dames" of traditional course designs with tree lined narrow fairways. The course was built following the contours of the hilly terrain in this southern part of Surabaya. Yani could be compared with a course like Senayan or Rawamangun in Jakarta.

LOMBOK KOSAIDO COUNTRY CLUB

Gracefully situated in the northwestern region of Lombok Island beside the beautiful blue waters of Sire Bay lies Lombok Golf Kosaido Country Club. As picturesque as any artist's canvas to behold, Kosaido renders an atmosphere of serenity and calm. The fairway landform is gently undulating, mild breezes come off the sea, and dappled shade from the palm-leaf canopy overhead completes the pleasant picture. The 18 holes golf course is an international standard of championship course, total area 76 hectares, divided into 2 parts: 9 holes-flat landscape in course full of palm and coconut trees, while the others 9 holes out course landscape full with variation is planted with tropical Indonesian trees and flowers. THE BVGL TEAM

All members of the Bali Vacation Golf Leisure team come from a background in customer relations and are chosen in part for their ability to communicate effectively, not only in languages familiar to them, but also, in the case of many of our foreign clients, through the anticipation of the clients' needs.

All BVGL staff perform a variety of duties including promoting our services in public, conducting promotions at golf clubs and other special functions, meeting and escorting clients between airport, hotels and golf courses and, whenever required, showing clients around town in the evening.

HISTORY AND VISION

Bali Vacation Golf Leisure(BVGL) was originally establish as a specialist agent selling golf packages in East Java to tourist, ex-pats and nationals based in Bali. A simple and logical extension to this service was for BVGL also to promote golf tours and packages in Bali to those based in Java.

All very keen golfers themselves, the directors set out with the concept of supplying “the complete service for the golfer in Bali”, anticipating from first hand experience all the needs of the vacationing golfer, however the extent of the BVGL service has extended far beyond Bali’s shoreline.

Our initial choice of bright attractive uniforms and good looking staff to greet each client on arrival, has snowballed to include cold towels and drinks at the airport, accompanied transfers and prearranged check ins at hotels and even our own highly professional escort service to ensure that our clients are not left with nothing to do after their busy day out on the links.

The success of this service has meant that we now find ourselves agents and directly to clients from abroad especially from within ASIA but also from USA, Australia and Europe.

What Bali Vacation Golf Leisure(BVGL) aims to achieve through this service, is to substantially increase the following:
1.The number of foreigner golfer playing in Indonesia.
2.The number of foreigner to Indonesia each year by our clients.
3.The number of times each of our clients plays per visit to Indonesia.

We intend to achieve this by offering better and better rates to our clients as the popularity of the service grows and to introduce frequent play packages to returning clients so that each round they play becomes better and better value.
